We, the Claremont Progressives, are a diverse community-based group who band together to fight for such progressive goals as affordable health care, a rational foreign policy, civil liberties, clean elections, and a truly participatory democracy. Based in Claremont, California, with members in surrounding communities, we meet monthly. We are this area’s local affiliate of MoveOn.Org, an Internet-based progressive grassroots organization with over 3 million members across America.

What we’ve done
*Staged vigils and demonstrations to demand national healthcare *Marched in antiwar rallies and delivered over 1000 signatures demanding an Iraq exit strategy to Rep. David Dreier's office *Conducted Congressional postcard-writing campaigns *Held phonathons on issues such as global warming *Created “Had Enough?” progressive magnetic bumper stickers
*Conducted educational campaign to overturn the Supreme Court Citizens United decision, support public financing of elections, and lobbying reforms
